Goyaa the Bake House in Bodakdev is a cozy café and bakery that fits neatly into Ahmedabad’s growing scene of quality coffee and artisanal sweets. Situated opposite Ahmedabad International School, it feels like a quiet nook amidst a typically busy neighborhood. The interior is modest in size, which means it can get a little lively when busy, but that only adds a casual buzz to the experience.

This café leans heavily into premium baked goods and thoughtfully crafted coffee. Among the easily noticeable favorites are the Goyaa Milk Cake Tub, which presents a soft, fresh take on a classic sweet, and their tiramisu—with an option for eggless versions that reflects attention to diverse tastes. Coffee here ranges from a well-pulled Americano to more indulgent options like matcha lattes and cappuccinos, inviting both those who want a straightforward caffeine fix and those who want to linger over more specialized drinks.

Visitors often come for a relaxed early afternoon or weekend stop where they can enjoy quality desserts paired with their coffee. The atmosphere suits a mix of casual dates, catch-ups with friends, or even some light work-time breaks thanks to the calm but warm environment. The owner’s subtle presence and the attentive staff add a personal layer to the visit, reflecting the café’s local roots rather than a distant corporate vibe.

Parking can be a bit tricky given the location’s residential surroundings, so it’s wise to plan ahead or consider a brief walk from nearby spots. Prices sit on the higher side, which aligns with the quality and presentation of the food but might steer casual drop-ins toward those special treat visits rather than everyday stops.

  • Best for: Dessert lovers and coffee enthusiasts looking for a carefully curated menu in a compact, comfortable setting.
  • Who enjoys it: Locals who appreciate artisanal bakery items and premium coffee, as well as visitors preferring a laid-back but refined café atmosphere.
  • Best time to visit: Mid-afternoon or weekend mornings when the café’s vibe is relaxed and there’s a better chance for a quiet corner.
  • Atmosphere: Cozy, softly energetic when full, with a homey feel that turns customer service into a genuine interaction rather than just a transaction.

Tried the Chocolate French Biscuit Cake (₹430) at Goyaa — absolutely divine! Rich, premium dark chocolate that really hits the spot. The ambiance is cozy and the staff are friendly. It is a bit pricy, and the place is smaller than expected, plus parking can be a challenge. Still, a premium dessert experience worth trying!

The best cafe in the town, they serve the best food. We tried beetroot and guacamole burger, spinach cheddar omelette, their tempting tiramisu, cinnamon hot chocolate and iced coffee. I will say it was 10/10. It was an explosion of flavors—perfectly prepared and beautifully presented, the best I’ve had in a long time! This place is a must visit. Will definitely visit again soon.

This place offers a wonderfully cozy ambiance—perfect for a date, casual hangout, or even getting some work done. The food is absolutely delicious; we tried the Mushroom Melt Croissant Sandwich and the Eggless Tiramisu (they also offer a regular version with eggs). The owner is a soft-spoken and generous lady who truly adds warmth to the experience. Overall, an amazing visit—I highly recommend

Really nice cute cozy place, but not quite because it was full you might end up being loud while talking. Otherwise nice place, desert and coffee was nice.

I had a brief visit to Goyaa The Bakehouse and tried their milk cake — it was absolutely delicious. The sweetness was perfectly balanced, and the cake was fresh, soft, and melted in my mouth. The portion was just right for two people to share. Price-wise, it’s on the higher side, but the quality does justify it to some extent. The service was impressive — the servers were attentive and quick, which added to the overall positive experience. The only downside is the ambience; while it’s cozy, it could feel a bit congested when fully occupied. Overall, a delightful dessert experience with room for improvement in seating comfort.

Been to this bake house and cafe. Could not taste their baking items , as it was just a coffee to check on. Coffee was good. Staff : well dressed, neat. Menu : definitely higher on the price , they definitely claim the quality but that yet to b checked. Location and parking : you can find your parking anywhere , not easy neither difficult. Cafe is made in a bungalow at the first floor , can accommodate 30 people. It’s made nice small in size and comfortable to sit over a coffee and baking items with some of the healthy snacks. I shud visit again as it’s easy access , simple made , less of noise and convenient. Suggestion to owner : to lower the rates by 15 - 20% at least for now for recurring business , which is important and avoid collapses of business in a very short term. This won’t affect the business at all.

They have the best Tiramisu and without eggs too! And the Matilda cake and pistachio croissants are must tries. The staff is warm and accommodating. And natural sunlight!
